Impeachment...redux & Rove flees
Christy beat me to the punch on this scoop.
So here's her words..
"Holy Crap
While the House tabled previous articles of impeachment against Bush offered by Kucinich, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suggested this morning that the Judiciary Committee may “have some hearings” on Kucinich’s new impeachment resolution.
AND AND AND
Rove avoids subpoena by fleeing the country."
The only thing left to say is "Only a blind man couldn't have seen that coming!"
Frog march!
up for a bit
O.M.G. It is Christmas in July!
Um, forgive me for being underwhelemed, but unless the House had a new set of cajones installed recently, I don't see squat on the horizon in the way of actual accountability.
I mean, they gave him 5 more days?
Gummy Dares
Economy may be starting to get very rough already.
I have had two family members and one co-worker lose their job in the past month.

The airlines are really in dire straits thanks to the fuel prices. That's why I shared the 12 airline CEOs' letter yesterday.
My next flight is on US Airways, and I will have to pay $2 on board for a lousy bottle of water.
$2 FOR WATER.
There is also a $15 first bag fee, which I'll duck only because I bought my ticket early.
US Airways says no more movies on domestic flights either, as the movie systems weigh 500 pounds (meaning they suck up fuel without contributing to profits).
Of course, there always are the morons who want to blame the pilots and the flight attendants (and their unions) for this mess. Maybe Air Line Pilots Association, the most Republican and richest labor union around, but certainly not the Association of Flight Attendants. I don't want to go back to the days of miniskirt-clad air stewardesses who were required to be single!
Seriously, when the most Republican of 'em all - the airline executives - sound like pro-regulation treehugger Democrats (as they did in the letter I shared yesterday), we know that the Republican model of government is having serious problems.
WASHINGTON - The Bush administration on Friday rejected regulating greenhouse gases blamed for global warming, saying it would cause too many job losses.
In a 588-page federal notice, the Environmental Protection made no finding on whether global warming poses a threat to people's health, reversing an earlier conclusion at the insistence of the White House and officially kicking any decision on a solution to the next president and Congress.
The White House on Thursday rejected EPA's conclusion three weeks earlier that the 1970 Clean Air Act "can be both workable and effective for addressing global climate change." Instead, EPA said Friday that law is "ill-suited" for dealing with climate change.
This contrasts sharply with the tone of statements President Bush made at the just-concluded G-8 summit of leading industrialized nations in Toyako, Japan. The United States at that meeting joined other summit partners in embracing a policy declaration to seek a 50 percent reduction in global greenhouse gases by 2050.

Report: Bush Privately Told Germany He Had Misgivings About Obama Speech
**UPDATE**
German papers find more evidence that the Bush administration voiced strong opposition to an Obama speech at the Brandenberg Gate. Ben Smith reports:
Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt told the tabloid Bild -- the biggest paper in the country -- that "it would be nice if the German government would focus on strengthening its contacts to us rather than already beginning to look for our successors."
Also, a few readers wrote in with more precise translations of the word "angeblafft" in that Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung piece, which -- beyond the point previously translated -- said Merkel's foreign policy adviser Christoph Heusgen was "taken to task," "snapped at," or "berated" by a Bush aide. >>>cont

Court tosses White House appeal on visitor logs
Despite ruling public disclosure by no means assured
Fri., July. 11, 2008
WASHINGTON (AP) - A federal appeals court on Friday set back the White House's efforts to keep the names of its visitors secret.
The three-member panel of judges threw out the government's appeal in a case brought by a watchdog group trying to find out how often prominent religious conservatives visited the White House and Vice President Dick Cheney's residence.
The Bush administration was appealing a federal judge's decision last December that the government should gather the records the watchdog group wants.
Despite the ruling against the White House, public disclosure of visitor logs is by no means assured.
The Bush administration can still raise a variety of legal arguments in an attempt to keep the identities of White House visitors secret.
But appeals court Judge David Tatel said the document request from Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington is narrowly drawn and can be processed.
Handling CREW's request would not require the president, Cheney or their staffs to sort through mountains of files, said Tatel.
The burden "should prove minimal," he added.
The case now goes back to U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth, who ruled that White House visitor logs are public documents subject to disclosure requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
The Bush administration argued that releasing those documents would trample on the president's right to seek private, confidential advice.

Bush Official Denies German Press Reports On Obama Speech
The Bush administration is denying reports in German newspapers that officials expressed opposition to a possible Obama speech at the Brandenberg Gate, TPM reports:
Der Spiegel cited another German press report quoting Deputy Treasury Secretary Robert Kimmitt saying this about the idea: "It would be nice if the German government would focus on strengthening its contacts to us rather than already beginning to look for our successors."
But Kimmitt's spokesperson Brookly McLaughlin . . . says that the quote from Kimmitt was not a reference to the battle over the speech.
"He was meeting with some folks in Germany last week and was asked a question regarding U.S. policy after the election," she continues. "This was before the issue of the Obama speech had even arisen so in no way was it a comment on that."
She adds that Kimmitt didn't say that the German government shouldn't engage with Obama, saying that he merely said "that he hoped the German government would stay engaged with the current administration even as it began outreach to potential

Glow Fading?
The latest NEWSWEEK Poll shows Barack Obama leading John McCain by only 3 points. What a difference a few weeks can make.
A month after emerging victorious from the bruising Democratic nominating contest, some of Barack Obama's glow may be fading. In the latest NEWSWEEK Poll, the Illinois senator leads Republican nominee John McCain by just 3 percentage points, 44 percent to 41 percent. The statistical dead heat is a marked change from last month's NEWSWEEK Poll, where Obama led McCain by 15 points, 51 percent to 36 percent.

Polls: Obama ahead by eight
(CNN) — As the dog days of summer set in and Americans take a break from the daily political band-and-forth, a new CNN analysis of several recent national opinion surveys show Barack Obama with a sizeable lead over John McCain.
In the latest CNN Poll of polls, the Illinois senator holds an 8-point lead among registered voters nationwide, 49 percent to 41 percent, with 10 percent still undecided.
The 8-point spread is up 2 points from a CNN poll of polls released one week ago. It is double the margin it was one month ago, days after the prolonged Democratic race ended.
“Obama's lead has grown a bit over the course of the past month. It is still relatively slim, but it is certainly solid," CNN Senior Political Researcher Alan Silverleib said. "The burden is on McCain to find a way to shake things up as we enter the traditional summer doldrums.”
The poll of polls consists of three recent surveys from Gallup, CNN/Opinion Research Corp. and LA Times/Bloomberg. It does not carry a margin of error.

The race for the White House is getting a bit closer. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Barack Obama’s lead over John McCain down to a statistically insignificant single percentage point, 43% to 42%. Prior to today, Obama had enjoyed at least a four-point advantage every day since Hillary Clinton dropped out of the race over a month ago. This is the first time his support has fallen below the 45% level since May 31.
Monkey. I just don't believe the surveys. Frankly, I doubt most people are even answering their phones to take those surveys!
I'm tired of all the crappy stuff. Here's some good work that John Kerry did with a few 'moderate' Republicans. (refusing to add gripes about those moderate Repubs.)

Provisions will help thousands of Massachusetts homeowners survive declining housing market
BOSTON - Senator John Kerry announced that the Housing and Economic Recovery Act passed the Senate by a vote of 63-5 earlier today. The bill contains four key provisions, introduced by Kerry, which will help thousands of Massachusetts homeowners survive the nation's rapidly declining housing market.
"Foreclosures are devastating families here in Massachusetts each and every day, and this housing package will throw them a lifeline. It will help to reduce the number of foreclosures, increase access to safe and fair mortgage credit for all homebuyers and help create much-needed jobs. It's a good first step and I strongly urge my colleagues in the House and the President to support these important safeguards that will help millions of hard-working Americans get back on their feet," said Senator Kerry.
Four key provisions included in the Housing and Economic Recovery Act introduced by Senator Kerry:
* Kerry worked with Senator Gordon Smith (R-Oregon) to include the Mortgage Revenue Bond Provision, which provides an additional $11 billion of tax-exempt private activity bonds to housing finance agencies. The provision would allow the proceeds from the bonds to be used to refinance subprime loans, provide mortgages for first time homebuyers and for multifamily rental housing. This means that approximately $209 million in targeted mortgage relief will be available to the homeowners of Massachusetts, which could result in as may as 1,000 new loans in Massachusetts. Nationwide this would result in close to 87,000 additional loans.
* The bill also contains provisions to amend the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SCRA) by extending the period a lender must wait before starting disclosure procedures from 90 days to nine months after a service member has returned from active duty and capping interest on mortgages at 6 percent for one year after a serviceperson completes his/her services.
* The bill also establishes a National Affordable Housing Trust Fund, introduced by Kerry and Senator Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) which requires Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to set aside a portion of their profits of which, 65 percent will be used for the Housing Trust Fund (approximately $3.4 billion over ten years), and 35 percent will go toward a Capital Magnet Fund to leverage affordable housing development and community development activities. In 2000, Kerry wrote the first National Affordable Housing Trust Fund legislation to construct, rehabilitate, and preserve 1.5 million units of housing over the next 10 years.
* The bill includes $3.92 billion for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program which will help local communities fight the effects of foreclosure. Earlier this year, Kerry, along with Senator Edward Kennedy, sent a letter to the Senate leadership underscoring the need for $2 billion in additional funding for CDBG in the upcoming housing legislation.
The bill now heads to the House of Representatives for its approval.

"In the most detailed examination yet of Senator John McCain’s eligibility to be president, a law professor at the University of Arizona has concluded that neither Mr. McCain’s birth in 1936 in the Panama Canal Zone nor the fact that his parents were American citizens is enough to satisfy the constitutional requirement that the president must be a “natural-born citizen.”
The analysis, by Prof. Gabriel J. Chin, focused on a 1937 law that has been largely overlooked in the debate over Mr. McCain’s eligibility to be president. The law conferred citizenship on children of American parents born in the Canal Zone after 1904, and it made John McCain a citizen just before his first birthday. But the law came too late, Professor Chin argued, to make Mr. McCain a natural-born citizen.

I use to talk up the DNC to get Dems elected. Now, I just 'bitch' about them and I only talk up a few Dems--people like Kerry, Feingold, Kucinich, Leahy, ...in other words ONLY the ones who have stood against corruption.
OH. the other thing they lost, Oncall, is my MDP membership. H*** no! I'm sorry but I've seen more than I care to about the quality of people in the state party. And I'm angry about what happened with the primaries here.

I received this conservative email:
"[T]hen immediately afterwards, Rush Limbaugh and other hate-mongers began to fill the airwaves."
-- Al Gore
Former Senator and presidential candidate Al Gore could not have been more transparent when he uttered the words above in reference to the so-called Fairness Doctrine -- a blatant legislative attempt by Pelosi-liberals in Congress to SILENCE Rush Limbaugh and ALL of conservative talk radio!
But Nancy Pelosi and Al Gore aren.t the only liberals who want to silence conservative talk radio. Senator James Inhofe recounted some time ago that he overheard Hillary Clinton and Barbara Boxer conspire to declare war on talk radio:
"They said we've got to do something about this. These are nothing but far right-wing extremists.... There's got to be a legislative fix for this..."
Fortunately for us and the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Congressman Mike Pence is working to thwart attempts by the Pelosi-led Congress to impose the so-called Fairness Doctrine on the American people. Specifically, Congressman Pence introduced and is working hard to pass the Broadcaster Freedom Act (HR 2905) -- a bill to prevent Pelosi and her liberal cohorts from silencing conservative voices and opinions on talk radio with which they happen to disagree.
But, Congressman Pence and other supporters of his bill now need our help! Wouldn't you know... Nancy Pelosi refuses to allow the Broadcaster Freedom Act to come to the floor for a fair up-or-down vote. In response, conservatives in Congress initiated a "discharge petition" -- an action that requires the signatures of a simple majority of the House of Representatives to FORCE a bill -- in this case, the Broadcaster Freedom Act -- to the floor for an up-or-down vote!
And, at this moment, 200 Members of Congress have signed the discharge petition. In other words, we are only 18 votes shy of forcing a vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Act. Let's help Congressman Pence and other supporters of the First Amendment get those remaining signatures. Let's make our voices heard to ensure that Nancy Pelosi and her liberal allies in Congress don't silence conservative talk radio.
We only need 18 votes to FORCE a vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Act. Use the hyperlink below and help our conservative leaders in Congress get these votes by sending your urgent and personalized Blast Fax messages to President George W. Bush, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and each and every Member (Democrat and Republican) of the leadership of the House of Representatives.
Tell them Congressman Mike Pence's Broadcaster Freedom Act will thwart attempts by the Pelosi-led liberals in Congress to enact the so-called Fairness Doctrine. The American people should be free to decide whether they want to listen to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham or many others. We do not live in the former Soviet Union and liberals in Congress have no right to decide what the American people should or should not hear!
Let's send a message to our elected leaders: They can either stand with Nancy Pelosi -- as she attempts to spit on the First Amendment -- or they can stand with the American people, sign the discharge petition and bring the Broadcaster Freedom Act to the floor for a fair up-or-down vote. The American people need to know which Members of Congress value the First Amendment!
Send My Blast Faxes Now
How Would The Fairness Doctrine Silence Rush And Sean And Laura And Many Others?
President George W. Bush probably said it best:
"By insisting on so-called balance, [liberals] want to silence those they don't agree with. They know they cannot prevail in the public debate of ideas."
But don't take President Bush's word for it. Bill Ruder, John F. Kennedy's Assistant Secretary of Commerce, told us how they did it back in the good old days when liberals ran all three branches of government:
"Our massive strategy was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass right-wing broadcasters and hope the challenges would be so costly to them that they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue."
In other words, the Fairness Doctrine would BRING THE MASSIVE WEIGHT OF GOVERNMENT TO BEAR on stations carrying Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or Mark Levin or Laura Ingraham and FORCE them to provide equal time to an opposing viewpoint.
If you broadcast Rush Limbaugh for three hours, then you would be required to broadcast three hours of Al Franken or some other extreme lefty!
The trouble is, no one wants to listen to lefties on talk radio (left-wing opinions already saturate the airwaves on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN etc.).
Several years ago, Air America -- heavily funded by liberal ideologues -- saturated the airwaves with anti-American rants and raves.
Nobody listened. Pretty soon, Air America couldn't pay the janitor.
Pelosi, Clinton and Boxer KNOW that if they force stations to carry liberal propaganda, broadcasters will lose millions of dollars, since few people can stomach hours and hours of leftist bombast.
In other words, the Fairness Doctrine -- as Bill Ruder made perfectly clear -- isn't intended to provide balance. ITS PURPOSE IS TO FORCE TALK RADIO TO CEASE AND DESIST, TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVE DISSENT -- TO HUSH RUSH!
Well, I'm sure John McCain's 'reps' and war planners would just tell this soldier to sit down and shut up and stop the whining too.

Bush's Banned Interview: An Insight Into Insanity
While surfing the net on 'Stumble', I came across an interview with President Bush on Irish television that caused a bit of a storm in 2004. The interview conducted by the tenacious Carol Coleman of Radio Television Ireland was not aired on American television, and Bush's press officers apparently complained vociferously about the rigorous questioning.
The video shows Bush at the absolute peak of his arrogance -- convinced of his own rhetoric about Iraq, flooded with confidence from international subservience to American power, and high off a crushing military victory that reinforced his childish fantasies of American power and preeminence.
The problem was, Coleman was having none of it, and what transpired was a unique insight into the warped brain of the least respected and most hated president in the history of the United States.
"Mr. President," asked the stone faced Coleman. "You're going to arrive in Ireland in about 24 hours' time, and no doubt you will be welcomed by our political leaders. Unfortunately, the majority of our public do not welcome your visit because they're angry over Iraq, they're angry over Abu Ghraib. Are you bothered by what Irish people think?"
Other than stutter, the president managed only to answer in vacant homilies about 'the great values of our country.'
"We are a compassionate country," he asserted. "We're a strong country, and we'll defend ourselves -- but we help people."
And that was about the depth of his explanation for the invasion of Iraq. Supremely satisfied with his own answers, Bush expected Coleman to be bowled over with his 'good ol' plain speakin' English', but Coleman, not infected with the American media's insatiable appetite to service power, had other ideas.

I remember that interview really well, I picked it up off of RawStory as I recall.
I still am amazed to this day how very little has managed to stick to this president, but then again, I managed to lose total faith in the critical thinking skills of this country a long time ago.
If you listen to him answer a question, any question really, from 2000 on, it's boggles the brain how anyone could take him seriously, and yet here we are as a nation nearly 8 years later, in a pile of steaming crap with many actually wondering who's to blame.
You've GOT to be friggin kidding.

People who are unable to cope with reality are prone to addictions. That interview is proof positive that we were watching a man who never conquered his addictions. The video posted above is an excellent example of a psychopathologic personality disorder (narcissism). Notice how the woman conducting the interview is practically forced to not say anything until that egomaniacal moron completes his incoherent and irrelevant rants.

That is the way he was acting before he got re-elected, then that behavior escalated the year after he won re-election. I remember how frustrating that was for those of us who knew some of what was going on in the "real" world. I think that behavior frustrated me, it was like adding insult to injury.
I haven't even been back to Meet the Press or hardly even any tv news channels at all in the past week, and it kind of felt good. One thing I did catch, however, was a picture of Double-
U at a meeting. He was laid back, had his feet pushed away from the table, and looked to me like he knows he is on his way to retirement land. Alot safer posture (I hope).
How many more days????
How many more days doesn't really seem to matter that much to me anymore..
What's been more devestating to me and probably the rest of the world, moreso even then the rhetorical retard running the roost, has been the inability of those who call themselves citizens of the greatest country on earth, to discern for themselves what they were witnessing, and actually do a damn thing about it.
That 2000 & 2004 were even close with that bumbling buffoon says an awful lot about the credibility of the electorate to be trusted with important decisions, and even today there appears to be no letup in that seriously lacking skill.
So, although they were able to get away with it for 8 years, who's really to blame?
The proof is everywhere.
Who is to blame?
Media. Propaganda. Years of getting poor civics education.
Yes, some things are just political and opinions. However, when people don't understand the role of the media in keeping government honest, then we'll continue to have propaganda.
Also, the media itself is to blame. Even now, I watch them cut off the Democratic talking heads. I watch them say to the Democratic person, "You can have the last word," but then the person says something, then the Republican blasts out a response, and then the host moves to a NEW question while allowing the Republican the de-facto last word!
It's still happening.
AND I read that the media is claiming that the COST is prohibitive to have the show the DNC convention in whole plus to have the acceptance speech in the stadium. THey're already laying the groundwork to cheat us out of coverage, just like they did in 2004. Will they cut the Republican convention by the same amount? We know in 2004 they didn't. In fact, I believe they even went to the RNC during a HALF TIME show! (For football.) Imagine all the sports fans who got to see that. And this was coverage not given to the DNC
... and you can find just as many right wing conservative blogs and writers out there who write EXACTLY the same things you just have, sparrow, about how the liberal socialist cutoff some RNC spokesman, and how Obama is everywhere and that the media is coddling their darling... yadda yadda yadda friggin yadda...
I frsnkly can't stand the media format of having representatives from both the left and the right on at the same time, or campaign surrogates from each side on at the same time, watching them get baited into the obvious hotbutton issues and then the obligatory talking voer each other while vaguely insulting the ever-lovin-hell out of each other...
but Americans really seem to like that kind of reality television, so on with the show, even as our ratings go down the turlet.
But hey, you get what you pay for.
Pay-Per-Pew
Who is to blame is not actually an abstract.
It only seems abstract because the problems are so big and multilayered, and the consequences are so far flung
But one day, when the whole of the truth comes out, I doubt you will find a nexus that involves more than 20 people, maybe as few as 10.
Is it possible to literally 'take over' an empire with just 10 guys? Yes, if those people are in certain positions and they have a few decades to put it in place. And that is exactly what happened.
It seems abstract, like blaming the media, it is a multifaceted problem. But the media did not suddenly just decide to 'turn on' us. Someone infiltrated their command structure and turned them against us.
The type of blackout we are in can not happen naturally or even by accident. Someone is pulling a lever somewhere.
They created chaos. And we look at the chaos and think there is no beginning and no end, but that is what they want us to see. You can not create chaos by accident, but it is natural to assume no one could do it on purpose. It is human nature to assume no one WOULD do it on purpose.
But they did do it on purpose. They are still doing it.
I can't remember if I remember that interview.
However, as I watched it, I saw exactly what many people in our country would have seen. Bush appeared confident--for some arrogant but for others they would haven't called it arrogant. He appeared strong and forceful and confidant. He also appeared to be 'selling' America.
I can see why some people would have bought everything he said. Look at his face. We see a slimeball who lies continually and winks and stutters.
But others see a handsome face who looks AT the person, who leans forward and is totally involved in what he's saying to that person. You can tell he really believes it. Also, it's that trait that they used against Kerry because that 'strong' and 'I've set my course and am not changing it" attitude made sense after they successfully made 'flip-flopping' seem like a bad thing.
But one other thing that I see when I look at it, is a guy who looks manic. Yes, he seems narcisistic, but he seems like he's a highspeed train and he's rolling over anything in his way. He also is clearly a psychopathic liar. LOOK at his face and how he winked and arrogantly porclaimed that it was only a few who committed torture. Yet, he KNEW that HE ORDERED the torture. That's a reason why our country needs to impeach and why our country needs to make sure these people are held for war crimes trial. And that video should be used against him.
What about the interview where georgie says we are already in 'WW3'...? That interview was also blacked out.
But think about it. georgie honestly and seriously believes we are ALREADY in 'WW3'. An American President announces we are ALREADY IN WW3, and no one here knows that. It is simply not questioned or ever brought up again, even though he has said it atleast twice on camera.
I mentioned it to someone once, and I swear they just looked at me like they were staring through me, then their jaw dropped, then they said 'But, but, if the US president said we were in WW3 it would be all over the news!'.
I told her, 'It was all over 'the nrws', just not in this country.' She did not believe me until I showed it to her.
Bush likens 'war on terror' to WWIII
US President George W Bush has referred to the "war on terror" as "World War III" during a television interview.
Mr Bush told the CNBC television network the revolt of passengers on the hijacked flight 93 on September 11, 2001, was the "first counter-attack to World War III".
He said he agreed with the description by David Beamer, whose son Todd died in the crash, in a Wall Street Journal commentary last month the act was "our first successful counter-attack in our homeland in this new global war - World War III".
Mr Bush said: "I believe that. I believe that it was the first counter-attack to World War III.

Christy
Maybe they want war because there is more profit for weapons makers and petroleum companies. Didn't PNAC want "endless war"? & didn't McCain say "there will be other wars?"
sick
Monkey
Pay per Puke
Of course they want war to ensure war profits. But also to maintain power over the masses.
So, every action they take is a deliberate act of war, meant to keep it going, not an accident, not a mistake. The lies they told were NOT 'mistakes'.
They ARE NOT 'incompetent'. The illussion of icompetence is meant to also shoeld them from blame. It can't be his fault if the poor wittle guy is incapable.
PNAC is exactly who is behind this. They not only wrote down a step by step plan, they followed each step. They manipulated all of us into ensuring every step was followed.
But, I believe their plots are far more evil than just endless war 'over there'. I have believed and still do believe georgie is trying his level best to start a war on THIS continent. Either a war with chavez OR literally a Civil War, here among our own.
Me and Rossi have discussed this at length, and we both believe they, the cabal, are literally using Israel as a model. They want US to be Israel. Walled in with a constant military presence to 'protect us' from the 'terrorists'. Any act they do can be justified with a terrorist threat.
And any act of violence against them will be used as an example of the 'threat'.
It is the perfect plan to ensure 'endless war'. And endless war is not just a catch phrase or meant metaphorically, they literally NEED endless war, or else no more war profits.
They will never just give it all back, not just abandon their plans, they have already gotten away with too much, for too long, and in their minds they do believe they will continue to get away with it.
Bomb Iran? Why not? Who is going to stop them? And, since they already wholesale believe this is WW3, then bombing Iran is not only logical it is prudent. It will ensure that their business of war will always be profitable for their ENTIRE LIFETIMES.
As I said, when all of this comes out, I will bet my left pinkie toe that you will find a nexus of no more than 20 people at the center of EVERYTHING that has gone down behind our backs for the last 40 years.
In the right positions as few as 5 could be the nexus. And we already know atleast 3 of them. georgie, cheney, and rummy.
All of this crap seems to be happening all around us, with no beginning and no end, but that is why they need chaos, to disguise the nexus of those creating it.
I would even venture to name a 4th.
George Herbert Walker Bush.
Most wars offer only a limited window of opportunity for war profiteers.
The enemy is defeated, the war ends, you melt away into history with your blood money. That is how it used to be.
But, if you were a war profiteer who not only could create an 'enemy', but one that could literally never be 'defeated',...why wouldn't you?
And if one 'enemy' turns out to be a non threat...just create another one, and another, and another.
I really do believe that sums up EXACTLY what they intended to do all along.
When history writes this all out, it will probably be known as the Era of War Profiteers, the same way we look back on the days of The Robber Barons.
georgie, daddy HW, rummy, cheney, and rove. That is the nexus.
The rest are all high paid puppets.
Harry Reid may be a nice guy, but man he is worthless in his so-called leadership role.
Wars are very valuable because in wartime, you can shut the masses up by charging your opponents with "providing aid and comfort to the enemy."
Reverend Moon and his minions have mastered this art.
We must bomb South Korea - and ourselves. That's the ONLY war I will accept.
We must...bomb South Korea and...OURSELVES....?
HAHAHAHA! OMFG! HAHA!
Ally,
Where do you come up with groups to bomb...? Do you just have little slips of paper with random names of countries and groups on them and you just pull them out of a fishbowl or what?
So far you have expressed a desire to bomb every group you are a part of and offered up both christians and muslims to be beheaded, and lets not forget your long standing promise to light up the Cuban Americans.
Why can't we just bomb Saudis? We could all agree to that (At least a majority of us could. Democracy Rules!)
You are all over the map with your homicidal desires. It is confusing.
Sack Pelosi and Reid, or sack the Democrats. ALL OF THEM.
Christy
If the Koreans want to exterminate ordinary, honest-to-goodness Americans (those who are LGBT), and use their tax money to fund Reverend Moon, then that's an ACT OF WAR.
Too bad, W loves the idea (and the Moonie money) too much, and he's coddling the Samsung bastards.
And seriously, I don't think I can relate to a barbaric country like South Korea anymore. A country where murder-suicides of family members (or honor killings of LGBT family members) are an EVERYDAY occurrence.
Christy
Seriously, at least we know the Saudis to be the barbarians that they truly are.
But the Koreans have us fooled with their sparkling Samsung TVs and Hyundai cars.
I'm no longer fooled.
Christy
You also forgot my longtime grudge against the Vietnamese-Americans too.
Don't forget about Poland.
Coming at you here from love and peace global citizen land!!
Anyway, Christy - I agree - they are probably doing it for power and to make money off weapons and oil but also there is the delusion - Armageddon coming to pass - and the paranoia - imagining more enemies than the number of actual Communists or terrorists that could hid under all of our collective beds and in our closets.
I just read that Karzai does not want us waging war from Afghanistan against Iran. For one thing, alot of the tribal people there are directly related to the Iranians. I know some people descended from them and they have cousins in both places. Also, Al-Maliki does not want our continued presence in his land.
These are two puppet regimes who are occupied. I read through the words of the Marseillaise (it is Bastille Day) and thought of them, only they are the occupied, we are the occupier.
Here is is, translated into English:
FIGHTING SONG OF FRANCE (La Marseillaise)
Come all you children of the nation:
Today our glory is in front of us.
We must tear down the hideous flags
Raised over our land by invaders.
Do you hear the fierce trampings
Of enemy soldiers across our fields?
They are coming close within our reach
Only to slit our lovers’ and our brothers’ throats.
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
2
What do those thugs led by kings,
Those conspirators want with us?
For whom were these insulting interferences
Prepared, enforced by harsh, sharp-edged steel?
At us, the French people, these outrages come,
Causing us to rouse our vigor.
It is ourselves whom they dare
To want to return to royal misery.
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
3
Hey! These gangs of strangers
Are trying to become the rulers in our own homes!
Ho! These vicious troops come to loot us
And to stomp on our good buddies.
Judas Priest! Manacled at the wrist,
French people bow under the tyrannous yoke
As vile overseers try to become
The masters of our destinies.
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
4
Shudder fearfully, you lying brutes,
As word of your rapine cannot be hidden.
Tremble violently: your public murders
Are going to be properly revenged.
Every man is a soldier against you;
If he falls, our young hero,
The earth itself produces another
Ready to beat down upon you!
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
5
Frenchmen are stouthearted killers who
Can either give or take a sickening stroke.
Give any unfortunate French victims
Absolution for arming against the foe.
But none for these bloody despots,
No, none for these henchmen of bootlickers,
All these swine who, without mercy,
Would defile and stab our mother, France.
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
6
We know this is a rush toward the killing
That has already taken our seniors from us.
We will find their bodies, as others may find ours;
Piles of dead prove the presence of military virtues.
Although we would like to survive
Those who depart in their coffins,
We will have the sublime pride
Of either avenging or following them.
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
7
Bring patriotism's shock to our country,
To embolden our combat troops.
Freedom, dear Freedom
Stands with us, her defenders!
Under our triumphant flags victory
Pushes forward its proud energy.
May our hopelessly dying enemies
See its triumph and our grandeur!
REFRAIN
Grab your weapons, my lads.
Get in line with each other.
Hit the road! Move forward!
Kill them all over the countryside
So their blood fertilizes our farms!
Now watch the video - a warning from a first generation son of Eastern European parents who sent it from Staten Island. I had forgotten - watch it all the way through because the important message is at the very end.
I have to admit, once you get past the sparkling tvs and cars, Koreans are as hardcore as anyone else. They don't fight, they brawl!
It just seems damn odd when we are all sitting around talking about bombing allies AND ourselves, and the oddest thing is I can't think of a reason not too.
That is right, she did want to bomb Poland too!
Note to self: When I become president one day, do NOT appoint Ally as an ambassador, and keep her away from all things that go bang.
"..but also there is the delusion - Armageddon coming to pass "
That is the scariest thing of all. I am not even a Jesus christian, but even I stop sometimes and think 'Holy Shiite! This is getting downright biblical!'
In the deepest parts of my heart I fear you are exactly right, that they are doing it not just for power and money, but under the ultimate evil guise of believing they can 'tip off' Armageddon. The ultimate 'endless war'.
The scariest thing is...THEY CAN tip it off! They may already have.

You have NO IDEA how closely things that are happening in the real world are lining up with the biblical prophecy.
Course you do get different opinions and views on the entire subject depending on who you talk to: from a non-Jesus type Christian (lol)
to someone who thinks all that prophecy was meant to and was fulfilled by 70 AD.
A version that I heard said that the U.S. is not supposed to be around any more when that final battle is to take place. The European
league is in place, and US is not mentioned. Mentioned are: Russia, China, Europeans, Israel (of course), and the Arab states. Who knows?
As a matter of fact, that is exactly what our lesson was on in a main stream non fundie service yesterday.......
I am a One God Christian, Not a Jesus Christian. Mary got pregnant the same damn way I did. I have faith, just not that much.
BTW, that whole Moses thing...burning bushes, stone tablets...yeah right! People will freaking believe anything.
But, yes darlin, I do realize how biblical it is getting. My family is full of fundies dreaming about the Rapture. Even ones that you would not think were that way are just sitting there watching the sky.
The problem with 'religious' people is they will see 'biblical' implications in the most inane and insinscere things. They will try to force a situation just so it WILL mirror a 'biblical' example. They will make things up, see 'visions' or angels, or hear messages God only trusts THEM with.
As far as I am concerned it is all bullsh*t. Virgins don't get pregnant, burning brush does not speak, and there is no freaking Promised Land.
Armageddon will not be an act of God. It will be an act of mankind, and it is a shame too, cause we were finally just evolving into something better than animals.
Christy
One God Christian, but not a Jesus Christian?
That's what the Unitarians were/are, though now the Unitarians, now merged with the Universalists, are not considered Christians anymore.
Unitarians believed in only one being, not the Holy Trinity, hence their name.
I don't really believe in the Holy Trinity either, but my beliefs are firmly rooted in christianity.
I have lived among many sects of christians, but I have never lived among another religion other than christians.
My lover is the only non believer I have ever known. Or, at least he is the only one I ever met brave enough to question it out loud.
I tried to save his soul once, you know, so he could join me in the afterlife, but it did not go so well. In fact it went so badly, I won't try it again.
I have a secret plan though, I am going to spend the rest of my life giving him subliminal messages.

Do you find this quote interesting? If so you might like the diary as well. Someone just sent it to me (Kayakbiker, who is home from Paris.)
"God is dead. God remains dead. And we have killed him. How shall we comfort ourselves, the murderers of all murderers? What was holiest and mightiest of all that the world has yet owned has bled to death under our knives: who will wipe this blood off us? What water is there for us to clean ourselves? What festivals of atonement, what sacred games shall we have to invent? Is not the greatness of this deed too great for us? Must we ourselves not become gods simply to appear worthy of it?"
